Graphics processing units (GPUs) have evolved into an extremely powerful and flexible processor, making them an attractive platform for high performance computing due to their extremely high floating-point processing performance, huge memory bandwidth and their comparatively low cost. This paper proposes a new platform named PConG for pervasive computing. We describe the design and implementation of the PConG platform that provides a novel mechanism to execute programs in a pervasive computing environment. The presented experimental results show that significant improvements can be achieved with the use of PConG against the use of conventional server.
